How to get to Mompos from Barranquilla by Public Transport

The journey from Barranquilla to Mompos is around 6 hours.

Take a Unitransco bus from Barranquilla terminal which goes to Magangué. Price: $55,000. Time: 4 hours.

Once in Magangué you can get to Mompos (see How to get to Mompos from Magangué) . Factor about 1 and a half to 2 hours.

There are also door to door services from Barranquilla to Mompós. Speak to your hotel about organising your trip.

How to get to Mompos from Barranquilla By Car or Motorcycle:

Take the road to Sincelejo and the turn off at the crossroads at El Bongo in the direction of Magangué. In Magangué
head to Yati where you can catch the Ferry to Bodega and then continue on to Mompos.
